- GAME NIGHT: Clippers (2-9) at Sixers (5-6)
* The Philadelphia 76ers take home court tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Wachovia Centre, which will be a reunion of sorts for Elton Brand and the boys from the west shore. Tonight will also provide the chance for Brand to square off against his friend Baron Davis.The Sixers are comming off one of their worst performances of the season against the TimberWolves, and it will be important for them to get off to a good start tonight to erase any of that bad taste from their mouths. The Clippers are a team in flux, as they traded Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley to the Knicks in return for Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins.The Sixers need to win tonight because they are the better team on paper; they need to prove to themselves that they can, and should, win these games against lesser opponents.
